Job Function - General:

• Performs on-the-job learning in a manufacturing environment as assigned by mentor
• Progress in apprentice program by attending and completing assigned courses and training
• Document activities accordingly as required by department apprenticeship program and facility requirements
• Complete assigned rotations by working on differing shifts as necessary The job function list is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor. General:

  • High school diploma/G.E.D required
  • Must be actively enrolled and in good standing with a regional apprenticeship program Experience:
    • 00-02 years related experience Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
      • Required to apply entry level working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization. Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts, and proposes a course of action. Performs entry level shop floor competencies. Supervision Given and Received:
        • Works under guidance from an assigned mentor and direct supervision, will receive detailed verbal and/or written instructions. Uses established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Problem Solving:
          • May require some limited judgement in resolving problems. Contacts/Cooperation:
