Job Description:
A company is looking for a Legal Editor to join an ongoing legal
research initiative.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth review of legal materials to ensure the currency
of published insurance content or create new content
Edit existing documents or draft new content, including practice
notes, articles, and state law surveys
Complete assigned projects by prescribed deadlines and accept
feedback for revisions
Required Qualifications
Member in good standing of any U.S. State Bar with a JD from an
accredited law school
3-5 years' experience in a law firm or in-house focusing on
insurance coverages and regulatory compliance
Understanding of insurance coverage and regulatory compliance
Proficiency in using Lexis+ and navigating State Insurance
Department and NAIC websites
Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, including Word and
Excel
