Job Description Mission Community Hospital, a 145-bed acute care
facility located in the San Fernando Valley, is currently searching
for 2 Per-diem Respiratory Therapist, Day/Night Shift. Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapist will assess and Implement plans of care
for respiratory patients. They perform direct care activities
required to provide and maintain individualized quality patient
care. Specific areas of responsibility include: Administration of
respiratory medications, performance of treatments, provision of
patient education, maintenance of a record of care. Actively
participates in performance improvement programs with-in the
department. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible to the
Director of Respiratory Therapy and under medical supervision of
the Medical Director of Respiratory Care Services. Qualifications:
Gener General al Job Requirements, Certifications & Knowledge
Requirements: 4 Current CRT or RRT 4 Current RCP License from State
of California. 4 EKG Certificate must be obtained within 60 days of
hire 4 BCLS 4 PALS Certificate must be obtained within 30 days of
hire 4 ACLS Certificate must be obtained within 30 days of hire 4
MAB Certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire 4 Current
Los Angeles Fire Card must be obtained within 30 days of hire
