Adheres to state and federal regulatory license, certification and accrediting requirement guidelines. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team. /n Job Requirements: /n/n Education and Work Experience: /n /n - Master's Degree: Required /n - Two years' speech language pathology experience: Preferred /n /n/n/n Licenses/Certifications: /n /n - Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required /n - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required /n - American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Preferred /n /n/n/n Facility Specific License/Certifications: /n /n - Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required /n - Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required /n - Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP): Required /n /n/n/n Essential Functions: /n /n - Reviews patient information before evaluations and during course of treatment. /n - Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments. /n - Assists in data collection of patient outcomes. /n - Instructs and directs support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts. /n - Supervises assistants and support staff. /n - Performs other job-related duties as assigned. /n /n/n/n Organizational Requirements: /n Adventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
