Ophthalmic Technician Location: Beverly Hills, CA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,200 to $1,360 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $30.00 - $34.00/Hourly. Summary: The Ophthalmic Technician is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clinical functions to include scheduling and greeting patients; scheduling surgeries; performing diagnostic and eye function tests including clinical optics, ocular motility, visual fields, keratometry, topography, A –Scans, and Schirmer test; assisting with office surgical procedures; administering topical medications or diagnostic drugs as required by the ophthalmologist for testing or treatment. Record accurate charting and other office procedures. Assist ophthalmologist and/or optometrist with office patient procedures. Responsibilities: Administer eye drops and medications as directed. Assist with minor surgical procedures and in-office treatments. Prepare examination rooms and sterilize instruments. Educate patients on contact lens care, medications, and post-procedure instructions. Requirements Requirements: 2 - year experience Required, Epic experience Required, Certified Ophthalmic Assistant Preferred, BLS Certification, Certified Ophthalmic Technician.
