Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking an
experienced occupational therapist for a leave contract covering
maternity leave from December 1, 2025, to March 1, 2026. This
full-time (40 hours/week) opportunity involves providing
occupational therapy services across two elementary schools and one
middle school in Wilmington, NC. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and documentation
aligned with school-based practices. Collaborate with school staff
to support students functional performance and participation.
Develop individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of
each student. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure
comprehensive student support. Maintain compliance with all
applicable regulations and school policies during the leave period.
Desired Experience and Qualifications: Valid occupational therapy
license with credentials relevant to school-based practice.
Previous experience in school, home health, or healthcare OT
settings preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills
to work effectively within educational environments. Ability to
quickly adapt and integrate into multiple school settings.
Readiness to begin interviews and finalize contractual agreements
promptly. Location and Schedule: Position based in Wilmington,
North Carolina. 40 hours per week across two elementary schools and
one middle school. This contract is ideal for an occupational
