Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Physical Therapist position is available serving a K-12 school environment in the San Juan Capistrano area. This role supports students ranging from preschool through high school, providing essential therapeutic services during a maternity leave coverage through the end of the school year. The contract is part-time to full-time, with flexible hours ranging from approximately 20 to 30 hours per week. Key Qualifications and Experience: Masters degree in Physical Therapy Active California Physical Therapist license Experience working with school-aged children, preferably between 0 to 10 years Ability to provide skilled therapeutic interventions across a broad age range (preschool through high school) Responsibilities: Deliver physical therapy services tailored to individual student needs within a school environment Manage a caseload that currently includes approximately 35 students, delivering around 20 billable hours weekly, with potential fluctuations Collaborate with educational staff and families to promote student progress Maintain detailed and accurate documentation according to state and school district guidelines Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures Location: San Juan Capistrano area, California Benefits and Perks: Flexible scheduling options, supporting a work-life balance Opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic school setting Supportive professional environment focusing on student success This temporary opportunity offers a meaningful role supporting student health and development in an educational setting.
