Medical Assistant Location: Los Angeles, CA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $800 to $960 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00/Hourly. Summary: The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) provides clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient care and smooth daily operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Responsibilities: Greet patients, take appropriate vital signs, review current meds and record in medical record. Assist with tracking and monitoring department specific data. Explain policies, procedures, or services to patients based on scope of practice. Set up exam/procedure rooms appropriate to the patient visit needs. Clean and re-process equipment and supplies following department guidelines. Requirements Required Requirements: 1 - Year experience Required, 1 - year of OBGYN setting experience Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program, Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans, outpatient experience Required, BLS Certification, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
