Structural Analysis Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level)(Structural
Analysis) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes
(BCA) Propulsion Engineering Organization is seeking a Structural
Analysis Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level) to join our team in Long
Beach, California . As a Structural-Stress Analysis Engineer in the
Propulsion Engineering Organization, you will be working on BCA
Propulsion products, including sustaining and out-of-production
airplanes, post-production fleet support, and aftermarket repair
and modifications. You will be part of a team that consists of
highly knowledgeable and experienced engineers making an immediate
impact on Boeing’s success and the aviation industry. Propulsion
Engineering, located in sunny Southern California, is seeking an
experienced Structural-Stress Analysis Engineer to join our team.
Some travel may be required to work with enterprise teams and
suppliers, support testing, as well as to gain learning experiences
to enhance your career. Primary Responsibilities: Performs detailed
structural analysis (static strength and fatigue) to determine
structural integrity, using classical techniques and Boeing tools.
This analysis supports new designs, trade studies, responses to
customer inquiries, production issues, failure investigations, and
to show compliance with regulatory requirements. Guides structural
design and configuration development. Performs trade studies to
optimize structure and meet program requirements. Develops, deploys
and supports in-house and commercial application software to enable
efficient performance of engineering tasks. Researches and prepares
data to support definition of structural design requirements. Basic
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a
focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material
Sciences) 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent
combination of technical education and experience Experience with
structural analysis methods and other analysis tools Preferred
Qualifications: 5 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of technical education and experience
Experience with Propulsion structural/stress analysis highly
preferred Experience with Nastran/Patran/Hypermesh is a plus Master
of Science in Mechanical, Civil or Aerospace engineering is a plus
Researches and prepares data to support definition of structural

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well
as market and business considerations. Summary pay range Level 2
(Associate): $96,300- $117,700 Summary pay range Level 3
(Mid-Level): $117,900 - $144,100 Language Requirements: Not
