in Ontario, CA hire an experienced Quality Inspector to join their
team. This is a temp-to-hire role offering long-term stability and
the opportunity to grow within a well?established manufacturing
environment. We prefer candidates with Mitutoyo CMM experience ,
but any CMM experience will be strongly considered for an
interview. Monday- Friday 6:00 am -2:30pm Pay: $22.00/hr DOE Job
Summary The Quality Inspector ensures that products, materials, and
processes meet company, customer, and industry standards. This role
is responsible for inspecting parts against drawings and purchase
order requirements, conducting tests and audits, identifying
non-conformities, and helping maintain compliance, consistency, and
efficiency throughout production. Key Responsibilities Inspection &
Testing Perform visual, physical, and functional inspections of raw
materials, in?process components, and finished goods. Conduct
dimensional checks using calipers, height gauges, flat tables, and
other precision tools. Operate CMM equipment (Mitutoyo preferred)
using the latest software. Documentation & Reporting Maintain
accurate and detailed records of inspections and test results.
Identify and report defects, trends, and process deviations to
engineers and management. Equipment & Calibration Perform routine
calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment.
Collaboration & Process Improvement Work closely with production
teams to resolve quality issues. Recommend and support improvements
to enhance product quality and process efficiency. Train production
staff on proper quality standards and procedures. Skills &
Qualifications Strong technical and mechanical aptitude. CMM
experience required (Mitutoyo experience highly preferred). Ability
to measure components using calipers, height gauges, flat tables,
and other small precision tools. Excellent attention to detail with
strong analytical and problem?solving skills. Ability to read and
interpret blueprints and technical documents. Strong communication
skills. Good manual dexterity and ability to work safely in a
production environment. Work Environment Work performed primarily
on production floors, laboratories, or industrial areas. Involves
use of specialized inspection tools, equipment, and software.
