Job Description Job Description Maintenance Supervisor (Food Manufacturing) Maintenance Supervisor - Food Manufacturing Location: Buena Park, CA (90620) Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 Shift: 1st Shift - 6AM - 3PM / Monday - Friday (Some Saturdays) We are a leading refrigerated food manufacturer, delivering high-quality products to major retail and foodservice brands. We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our Buena Park operation and help keep production lines running smoothly while meeting the highest standards of quality. What You Will Be Doing Lead, schedule, and mentor a multi-shift team of maintenance technicians, ensuring efficient execution of daily tasks. Develop and oversee preventive maintenance (PM) programs for production lines, utilities (steam, refrigeration, HVAC, compressed air), and facility systems. Coordinate closely with production, QA, EHS, and engineering teams to align maintenance activities with food-safety, quality, and output targets. Monitor equipment performance metrics, drive KPI reporting (e.g., downtime, maintenance costs, PM compliance), and lead root-cause analysis to improve reliability. Manage spare-parts inventory, vendor relationships, and service contracts to support maintenance operations and capital projects. Ensure compliance with company safety protocols-LOTO, confined space, electrical-and hold training sessions and regular huddles. What You Will Need For This Job Bachelor's or technical degree preferred; minimum 3 years in industrial maintenance and at least 1 as a supervisor or lead-food manufacturing experience required. Extensive hands-on skills with mechanical (motors, belts, conveyors), electrical, PLC/VFD, refrigeration, HVAC, and utility systems. Strong leadership and communication skills to develop tech staff, drive accountability, and work cross-functionally. Proficiency in CMMS for maintenance scheduling, work-order management, documentation, and tracking metrics. Proven record with continuous-improvement tools (5S, root-cause analysis, FMEA) and budget/parts-inventory management.
