Solutions group is currently looking for an outstanding Field
Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) engineer to be part of a team that
develops industry leading cyber resilient ARM-based SoC processor
solutions. As an FPGA Engineer you will be part of a highly
collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. This position is available
in Pleasanton, CA; Huntington Beach, CA; or Berkeley,
MO.Responsibilities include:
- Keep abreast of FPGA intellectual property, standards, trends,
tools & methodology and support strategies
- Resolve complex issues related to architectural approaches,
requirements, specifications and design
- Drive FPGA through documentation for cyber applications
- Support of Supplier Management with make-buy recommendations
and other technical services
- Serve as a mentor and trainer growing the capability of the
teamThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. -The selected
candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed
location options. -This position requires the ability to obtain a
US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US
Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance
Post-Start is required.Special Program Access or other Government
Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.Basic
Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
- Possess a Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from
an accredited course of study, in Electrical Engineering, Computer
Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree.
- 5+ years of experience with FPGA design processes (design,
implementation, simulation, timing closure and validation)
- 5+ years of experience using FPGA design tools (such as:
Modelsim, Xilinx Vivado or ISE, Altera Quartus, Microsemi, or
similar)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with multiple FPGA vendors, components and
tools
- Experience with FPGA validation and test processes and
methodologies
- Experience with programming (C, C++, or pthon)
- Presentation skillsTypical
Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired
through advanced technical education from an accredited course of
study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or
chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related
work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education
and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7
years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is
the preferred, although not required, accreditation
