about empowering students with disabilities through innovative
assistive technology solutions? Join our team as an Independent
Educational Evaluation (IEE) Assistive Technology Assessor and help
unlock each child's potential for academic success. As an IEE
Assistive Technology Assessor, you'll conduct comprehensive
evaluations to determine students' assistive technology needs,
ensuring they receive the tools and support necessary to thrive in
their educational environment. Your expertise will directly impact
students' ability to access curriculum, communicate effectively,
and participate fully in their learning. Requirements: What You'll
Do Conduct thorough assistive technology assessments for students
referred for Independent Educational Evaluations Complete detailed
school observations to understand students' functional needs in
their natural learning environment Participate in IEP
(Individualized Education Program) meetings to present findings and
recommendations Collaborate with educational teams, families, and
students to identify optimal AT solutions Provide comprehensive
written reports with evidence-based recommendations Stay current
with emerging assistive technology trends and best practices
Compensation & Schedule Hourly Rate: $55-$62 per hour (based on
experience and qualifications) Expected Hours: 15-20 hours per IEE
assessment Flexible scheduling to accommodate school visits and IEP
meetings Remote work opportunities for report writing and
documentation Required Qualifications: Master's degree in
Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Special Education,
Rehabilitation Technology, or related field Current state
licensure/certification in your professional area Experience with
assistive technology assessment and implementation Knowledge of
special education law and IEP processes Strong observational and
analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication
abilities Preferred Qualifications: Assistive Technology
Professional (ATP) certification Previous IEE experience Experience
with a wide range of AT devices and software Bilingual capabilities
