Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to cover a maternity
leave in a K-8 public school located in Wilmington, Delaware. This
contract opportunity runs from January 26 through April 10, working
Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The position offers
the chance to work with a diverse caseload focused mostly on K-5th
grade students, with direct therapy services emphasizing
articulation and expressive/receptive language support. Additional
consultation support will be provided for students in grades 6-8.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech-language therapy to
students in kindergarten through 5th grade, addressing articulation
and language needs Provide consultation and support services for
middle school students (grades 6-8) Collaborate with educators and
school staff to support student communication goals Maintain
accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school
policies Qualifications: Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical
Competence (CCC) for Speech-Language Pathology Active Delaware SLP
license Experience working with pediatric populations, especially
in school settings (K-8) Strong knowledge of articulation disorders
and expressive/receptive language development Ability to provide
both direct therapy and consultative support within a school
environment Location: Wilmington, Delaware (K-8 public school)
