THE BASICS Pay : Our Service Plumbers earn $25.00 - $38.00/hour (based on experience) and incentives . Schedule : You typically work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm . Overtime is often available. You're responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and replacing plumbing components and fixtures like drains, pipes, toilets, and water heaters. Attentively, you perform thorough inspections to identify the source of issues and develop an effective game plan. You explain service options to customers, share pricing information, and follow all codes and manufacturer recommendations. As you work, you document your services and check the installed equipment to ensure everything works properly. When you're done, you collect payment and inform customers how to use and maintain their equipment. You also help drive sales by participating in our marketing program, upselling services or products, and building a client base through networking and referrals. SERVICE PLUMBER REQUIREMENTS Current plumbing license Relevant plumbing experience Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Communication and interpersonal skills Honest, respectful, and reliable personality Professional appearance and attitude Valid driver's license and clean driving record A LITTLE ABOUT US Our company was started in 1974 and is completely family-owned.
