They are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to support their financial operations and ensure precise management of accounting data and regulatory compliance. Position Overview The Bookkeeper will play a key role in overseeing the organization's financial records and daily accounting activities. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in banking or financial services who thrives in a detail-oriented and compliance-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting. Process accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and other accounting transactions with precision. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reports. Manage and monitor investment portfolio accounts, including monthly and semi-annual payment processing. Support teller operations and other banking functions as needed to ensure smooth branch operations. Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial operations, preferably within the banking sector. Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
